I chose not to use a Guestbook on this site, however here are some of the comments I have received since launching the site, and no I haven't filtered out uncomplimentary posts!

Thank you for such a lovely site devoted to the creator of all that was so truly unique, moving, subtle, and otherworldly in the Verve's sound. ASIH was seared into my soul and has yet to be replaced as my internal reference point to the musical  "there". McCabe's quiet, private nature and resistance to seeing his own genius just underscores for me the genuine brilliance with which he creates. There are so many of his sounds that are so good, so naturally perfect, they hurt...agony and ecstacy. To me he is the definition of subtlety and nuance, even within his loud piercing dances with feedback. Thanks for creating this site.  I truly enjoyed, literally, every word and picture on it. I would pay to see McCabe tune his guitar, let alone play it. It is HIS next work that I find unbearable to wait for. May I suggest, however, a group with a guitarist similar in approach and similar in musical integrity....Seven Percent Solution....with James Adkisson one of three guitarists...again with subtleties and layers and sounds that defy the instrument they are played on. Definitely worth a listen to.

   I'm a dedicated guitarist myself and Nick is one of my primary sources of inspiration, being as he is the finest guitarist of this generation.   Keep up the good work and lets hope he comes back from spain soon eh,

Comments: Thank you for putting this site together. I found it today after searching for news on the ex-vervies and was pleasantly surprised to see a site devoted to Nick. Virtually no one I know here in Ithaca, NY, USA, has any idea who I mean when I say McCabe is the best guitarist I've heard except for my all time fave the Edge. I watched the Verve movie last night and was, as always, awe struck by the sheer musicalness of his playing, and Jones's as well. What a loss for the music world. Here is my idea, I went to your site, and it was really good,  and thefirst nick site at that.  My idea is that you put some of your favorite nick guitar songs on tab.  I can think of a few that are his best, like gravity grave (the no come down one)  but damn, I don't know where you can get the tab if no one else has tabbed it.  oh well good luck

Comments: This web page has made my ears burn for what.........cos ill be listening out for work by him, im deeply into the verve especially storm in heaven and i have never listened to anything that gives me the right buzz like the verve does, but as you know, we all need new music and ill be litening out for mcCabe's work now that i have looked upon this website....cos to be frank ashcrofts album wasnt serious enough, it was good but it didnt hit the spot for me!!!!!1 so i hope mr mcCabe could do the job! init! lol
